Tom Campbell and Mark Redden met in Dublin in 1997, since then they have worked together on numerous projects and developed as artists in the ‘doing’ sense of the word. Art takes entire physical, mental and spiritual involvement, we exercise our whole being while making art. The living artists dedicate their lives to art making.
We believe in the NECESSITY of art, ‘good art’ should be a force to humanise society, to empower, to evoke thought and change and bring pleasure to the audience to enrich humanity.
The Living Artists is a creative collaboration aimed at bringing meaningful art to the people.

Art is a doing word!
Art cannot be confined to galleries. A child scribbles on a fresh white wall, another sings a lullaby to calm a child, an apprentice juggler, launches a club and catches. Could these actions be ‘art’? Art could be creativity that gives life through action. The job of the artist is to use creativity to hone and share their skills, and to help develop the creativity of others. Creativity is not confined to the artist, art should be inclusive. Art should be a force to humanise society, to empower, to evoke thought and change, and to challenge. Art is for all.
”Art takes entire physical, mental and spiritual involvement, we exercise our whole being while making art.”
